What is fun about dancing in new public locations all the time is taking in people’s reactions. Often I am very “closed off” in a sense that I am really focused on trying to do the dance in the new space and so concerned with the video taping of it that I am not very open to the people walking by. People are surprisingly obliging. I contribute this to the fact that Bay Area folks are pretty used to artists doing their thing all around them all the time. Most people will walk by and look, but not bat an eyelash. This particular day, I was a little more open and it was fun to see the difference. I really think that the man who chose to sit in the background and the guys who walk by in the middle (paired with Adele’s song) actually make this litte number interesting. Otherwise it is me just dancing around in high heels that are impossible to move in.

Really liked it. Where is the venue? I don’t recognize it.
Ah thanks! It was in this little staircase alcove on the bottom floor of One Embarcadero I believe.
